Supposedly haunted by a woman named Madam Jennie Banters, the Mile High Grill and Inn has many stories regarding the paranormal. The ghost of Madam Banters, and her cat, have both been known to get up to some trouble. From moving furniture, to radios turning on by themselves, to finding the footprints of a phantom cat on your bed, you may want to leave the light on while staying at this inn.

  • Saw a ghost here. . .

    I stayed at this hotel back in 2003, when it was known as The Inn at Jerome. I was there three nights. No one else had reserved a room and all the staff left around f 5PM. It was quite eerie staying there by myself. The last evening I was there, I was talking on the phone in the sitting area and looking into a mirror in front of me in which I could see the reflection of the hall leading to all the rooms. Suddenly, I saw a shadowy figure of a man walking down the hall. The place was locked up tight and I could find no sign of the man later. I stayed there with my husband in 2004 and 2017 and didn’t experience anything.
