Within the boundaries of the Navajo Nation, in northeastern Arizona, lies Canyon De Chelly. Encompassing over 80,000 acres, was the scene of a bloody battle against the Navajo people. Visitors have sworn they can still hear sounds of distress and warfare throughout that area.

The canyon was once the scene of Native American Warfare at Massacre Cave. Tours of the are are available.
